Interview conducted by Alan Cherry as part of the LDS Afro-American Oral History Project of the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies at Brigham Young University on 27 May 1987. Womble describes her early family life and religious experiences Dirt Town, Georgia. She talks about her conversion to the Mormon Church and its influence on her life and other Afro-Americans Mormons.
